eTenders Ireland

Ireland’s public-sector buyers use eTenders to publish notices and connect with suppliers. The site gives suppliers a route to register, express interest and submit tender responses, together with supplier guidance, tender searches and electronic-notice information.

Use the Irish workflow

Register the supplier organisation and keep the account’s contacts and categories current. Search by title, buyer, CPV code, procedure, value and deadline, then read the request for tender and every attachment. The buyer’s notice sets the response format, clarification route and closing time. Submit inside the eTenders event when instructed and retain the system receipt. Some Irish public bodies may use an additional system or link to supporting documents, so follow the specific notice rather than assuming that a profile registration is a response.

Do not mix jurisdictions

Ireland is a separate state with its own legislation, thresholds, currency and procurement administration. A supplier searching the island of Ireland may need both eTenders and eTendersNI, plus UK portals for UK buyers. CPV codes can help keep the searches consistent, but they do not make a notice interchangeable across borders. For example, an Irish health-body tender on eTenders may have a euro value and Irish submission requirements even if the supplier is based in Northern Ireland or Great Britain. Check eligibility, tax, insurance, data and delivery provisions in the actual documents.
