Find a Tender
Find a Tender is the UK service for publishing and searching public procurement notices under the current Procurement Act regime. It also provides the supplier registration and core-information functions of the central digital platform.
Reviewed
Since 24 February 2025, contracting authorities using the Procurement Act 2023 publish the Act’s notices on Find a Tender, while suppliers use the service to register organisations, obtain a unique identifier and share core information when required. Searching notices is free.
How to search
Search by keyword, buyer, location, notice type or CPV code. Save searches and alerts for the categories and places you can deliver, but read every notice in full: a keyword match does not mean you meet the conditions of participation. Look for a tender deadline, procedure, lots, documents, clarification route and response portal. FTS may link to a separate e-sourcing system where the actual tender is submitted.
Current and legacy records
The notice sequence depends on when the procurement began. A process started before 24 February 2025 normally continues with its earlier notice types, even if later notices appear on FTS. Scottish and Northern Irish procurements can be governed by devolved rules, and Welsh notices have specific arrangements. A listing on FTS is an opportunity to investigate, not proof that your company is eligible or that the buyer will accept a response through FTS. For a small English opportunity, also check Contracts Finder, which remains a useful source for below-threshold and historical information.
